Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Loam Moto app. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Loam Moto on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial maintenance and ride tracking. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.
2. Trial, purchase, and activation
Loam Moto is free to use for a 30-day trial. After the trial, full use on iOS requires the one-time unlock In-App Purchase; free or discounted iOS access is provided only through Apple offer codes. On Android, full use requires the one-time Google Play purchase or a valid Loam activation code. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms; the store account owns the purchase. Loam activation codes are Android-only and are for the recipient’s personal use. Existing data remains viewable read-only if the trial ends before you unlock.
3. Service intervals are estimates, not professional advice
Loam Moto is a tracking and reference tool only. It shows service and wear estimates based on manufacturer sources where available and conservative estimates otherwise. It does not give mechanical, safety, or professional advice, and does not replace your manufacturer’s manual or a qualified mechanic. You are solely responsible for the actual condition, maintenance, and roadworthiness of your motorcycle. Always verify against your manual and inspect wear parts (chain, tyres, mousse, brakes) by hand or with a qualified mechanic. We are not liable for mechanical failure, wear, injury, or any consequence of relying on in-app estimates.
4. Manual SOS helper; no emergency service
Loam Moto is not a safety, medical, or emergency device, and the production version does not provide automatic crash or fall detection. If you configure an emergency contact, you may manually trigger an SOS countdown from the ride screen. After the countdown, the app opens your device’s messaging app with a location message and then opens the phone app. The app cannot guarantee that a message or call is sent, delivered, answered, or accurate. It does not contact emergency services, monitor a response, or provide emergency dispatch. Do not rely on Loam Moto to summon help; keep an independent emergency plan. Do not operate or look at your phone while riding.
5. Ride recording and location
Ride recording must be started by you. When active, it may continue in the background with the screen off or the app not in use until you stop it. GPS can be inaccurate, delayed, interrupted by the operating system, or unavailable. Loam Moto does not guarantee a complete route, distance, speed, or time record.
6. Your data and backup
Your primary app data is stored on your device. Optional cloud backup is encrypted on your device before upload. Keep your recovery code safe: we cannot read the backup or recover a lost code. GPX tracks are not included in cloud backup. See the Privacy Policy for the data included, retention periods, and deletion process.
7. Third-party services
Some optional features rely on third-party services, including Cloudflare, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, Discord, OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap, image and specification providers, Google Play, Apple, Garmin, and paired-device platforms. Third-party content and services may be unavailable, delayed, inaccurate, or changed without notice, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its content, excluding your own data, are owned by Yev Gavrikov operating as Loam and protected by law. Manufacturer names and models are used for identification only and remain the property of their owners; Loam Moto is not affiliated with or endorsed by any motorcycle manufacturer.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yev Gavrikov operating as Loam is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for injury, death, property damage, mechanical failure, lost data, or lost profit arising from your use of or inability to use the app or its features. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Termination
We may suspend or end the license if you breach these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date and, where appropriate, noted in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
