Is Loam Moto free?
It’s free for a 30-day trial. After that, a one-time unlock (or a friend’s activation code) keeps every feature. No subscription, no ads. If the trial ends before you unlock, your data stays viewable read-only.
Which bikes does it work with?
Any motorcycle or e-moto, petrol or electric, from any make or model. Service intervals come from manufacturer guidance per component, with conservative estimates where none exist.
Does it need internet?
No. Rides record and your garage runs fully offline. Internet is only used if you opt into encrypted cloud backup, reminders, or a bike-photo / parts lookup.
Can I export or share a ride?
Yes. Every ride is saved as a GPX file on your device that you can export or share. If you set a home privacy zone, the start and end near home are trimmed from a shared track.
Where does my ride data live?
On your phone, local-first. GPS is recorded only while a ride is active. Optional backup is encrypted on-device (AES-GCM) before upload. We cannot read it. Full details are in the privacy policy.
What are activation codes?
Redeemable codes unlock the app without a store purchase. They are useful for giving a friend full access. Enter one in the app instead of buying the unlock.
